Swedbank head office, Cirkusängen quarter in Sundbyberg
In spring 2014, Swedbank moved its head office into a new property in Sundbyberg. A good, adapted interior climate in the giant (44,000 m2) building was assured by a total of twelve ventilation units from Östberg.
Malmö Live, Långan quarter, Malmö
Malmö Live is a new landmark in the city. The building, which was officially opened in 2015, is a concert venue, congress facility and hotel in one. For the office section, which stretches over 12,000 m2, Östberg has delivered a ventilation system that lives up to the most stringent environmental requirements.
Flygfältets handelsområde, Norrtälje
The biggest new shopping mall in Norrtälje – Flygfältets handelsområde – was opened in June 2012, featuring 13 different shops jointly covering 9,200 m2 of floor space. Staff and customers enjoy a top-quality indoor climate thanks to a ventilation system from Östberg.
Aspnäs Housing Association, Järfälla
Brf Aspnäs is the biggest housing association in Järfälla, with 530 apartments in two buildings. The properties were built in 1970, and when the time came to replace the ventilation system, the decision was made to use modular units from Östberg.
IKEA, Matkus Kuopio, Finland.
The IKEA megastore in Matkus, located just outside Kuopio in Finland, was officially opened on 1 November 2012. The store, which is located right next to Matkus Shopping Center, is IKEA’s biggest outlet in Finland today, with fully 30,000 m2 of floor space. All visitors and employees enjoy an excellent indoor climate, thanks to 12 modular units from Östberg.
P-Hämppi car park, Tampere
The P-Hämppi underground car park is located in the centre of Tampere, and its lively lighting makes it clear that this is not just another dull parking facility. Built in 2012, the car park was actually blasted out of the bedrock – and Östberg provided the ventilation units.
