Project Description

Östberg has assured the interior climate in Swedbank’s new head office

The new head office consists of three main building bodies, each with nine floors, comprising a total of 44,000 m2 of floor space. The two bottom floors house meeting rooms, conference facilities and a restaurant, while the seven floors above contain workstations for around 2,500 people. The property also has a garage area with parking for 140 cars.

Environment a crucial issue
During the construction of the new property, high emphasis was placed on environmental impact and energy consumption. The attention to this area paid dividends – not only has the property been environmentally certified according to the Sweden Green Building Council (Miljöbyggnad) standard, but it has also been given the highest possible rating: gold.

Special and demanding requirements
“Properties of this type, which are to be used by so many people and different kinds of business, naturally place special and demanding requirements on a good, adapted interior climate. So we’re proud to have been chosen to supply the ventilation units,” says Lars Strand, Technical Sales Representative at Östberg.

Specially adapted modular unit solution
Ventilation installations of this size, with requirements of this kind, often demand specially customised solutions – an area in which Östberg has extensive experience.
